日動画廊は1928年に創業、日本で最も歴史のある洋画商として、油彩、彫刻、版画を主に、内外の物故・現存あわせてその取り扱い作家は数百名に及びます。1966年には若手作家の育成のために昭和会展をスタート。2002年には現代美術を専門に扱う画廊としてnichido contemporary art（nca）を設立。また、責任ある作品の供給を果たすことを目的に美術品登録委員会を設置するなど、国内外を問わず現代の美術界の最新動向も幅広く収集しコレクターの信頼できるパートナーとして活動しています。
Gallery Nichido is the oil painting specialty art gallery in Japan founded in 1928. We mainly deal with oil painting, sculpture, printmaking, works of domestic and foreign artists. We started a Showa Kai exhibition to train young artists in 1966. We established nichido contemporary art (nca) as a gallery specializing in contemporary art in 2002. In addition, we have established an arts registry committee with the aim of fulfilling the supply of responsible works, collecting the latest trends of contemporary art worlds both domestically and internationally and acting as a reliable partner of the collector.
