Artist Profile

The subject matter of each of Noriko Saito’s drypoint prints is somehow loaded with humor. The fact that she is the mother of two small children seems reflected in their composition showing strange and interesting animals, birds who stare you straight in the eye, all sorts of "fun" shapes, and are printed with bold colors that make sure that you cannot take your eyes off them for a minute. Printed in small editions also makes sure that you don’t take too long to decide if you want one or not, or they may all be sold out. Since Noriko is rather new to this print world her prices are not yet too high that you cannot have two, or even three. They will all leave you smiling.
