Comment
I express the poetry of everyday life using traditional metalworking techniques such as forging, chasing, and casting. The colors in my works are also achieved through the chemical reactions of metals. My works are inspired by the small worlds around us, such as insects and small animals. By reconstructing these motifs based on landscapes and sensations from my memories, I aim to create works that evoke a sense of nostalgia within realistic expressions.
As a child, I was completely absorbed in observing and discovering the small worlds around me. I hope my works can serve as a reminder of the sensations we forget in our busy adult lives.
