Gallery CONTAINER is a contemporary art gallery that was established in 2021 at the Iwataya Main Store.
Located within a department store that caters to a diverse array of needs and interactions, we focus on a broad spectrum of artists, ranging from those garnering attention in the market, both within Japan and internationally, to emerging talents expected to shape the future.
Centered around a refined sensibility, we strive to be a ‘CONTAINER’—a dynamic space that showcases creations we resonate with, broadcasting from Fukuoka, Asia’s gateway to the world.
