Haberu Okinawa art gallery

Founded in 2025, Nanjo Art opened within the privately operated Nanjo Museum of Art in Nanjo City, Okinawa.
Director Mai Murase began her career at Gallery Kogure and Taguchi Fine Art before establishing her own gallery, Gallery Utsurobune, in 2022. She has curated exhibitions throughout the year at Arte Casa, the fine art gallery space within Nagoya Mitsukoshi Department Store, with a focus on supporting and nurturing emerging local artists.
After relocating to Okinawa in 2025, Murase has dedicated herself to expanding the local art market by fostering the development of young artists and cultivating a new generation of art collectors.
