Gallery EM opened in 2008 and is located near Dejima and the Nagasaki Prefectural Museum, and moved to Shindaiku area in 2022. The Gallery embraces the concept of showing art which is reflective of daily life.It presents inspiring contemporary art pieces including oil paintings, engravings and objects from international and domestic artists. The gallery supports and develops emerging artists in Nagasaki where the modern Japanese culture from the Edo era originated and is committed to offering and producing lifestyle art.
