Established in April 2018 and located in Akasaka, Tokyo, MARUEIDO JAPAN acts the contemporary division of the well renowned art dealer “Marueido” and focuses on contemporary and modern art. Located on Roppongi Street, the unique white cube space is filled with an abundance of natural light with a calming Japanese atmosphere towards the rear. Taking full advantage of the characteristics of the space, the gallery has been host to countless site specific installations. An active participant in events internationally and in Japan, and collaborating with artists in a number of genres such as material, time, light and society, the gallery also presents its own exhibitions locally in Tokyo.
