日本を拠点に活動するこの作家は、「無常」という哲学を創作の核心に据えています。それは、万物は常に変化し、同じ状態に留まることはないという、日本美学の根底にある「色即是空」の思想を芸術で探求する試みです。
特筆すべきは、作家が江戸絵画の世界的蒐集家でもある点です。長年の蒐集活動で培われた、本物を見極める審美眼と美学は、自身の創作にも深く投影されており、その作品に独自性と確かな深みを与えています。

Based in Japan, this artist’s creative essence is rooted in the philosophy of “Mujo” (impermanence). This is an artistic endeavor to explore the idea of “Shiki-soku-ze-ku” (form is emptiness), a fundamental concept in Japanese aesthetics, which posits that all things are in a constant state of flux and nothing remains the same.
Notably, the artist is also a world-renowned collector of Edo-period paintings. The discerning eye and aesthetic principles cultivated over many years of collecting are deeply reflected in their own creations, lending them a unique quality and profound depth.

九州芸術工科大学 工業設計学科 卒業（現・九州大学 芸術工学部）

Her artistic journey began with “Kirigami” (paper cutting), a medium she uses to pioneer her own unique world of expression.
She captures the fleeting yet certain sensations that emerge in daily life, sublimating them into universal forms through Kirigami and drawing. The works born from her delicate handcraft silently and deeply resonate with the viewer’s heart.

2006年から黒ペンで様々な木に動物画を作製。
動物を単純化させ、人工的で機械的なイメージと独自の感覚を、
ミックスさせた作品を手掛ける。
Design Festaやラフォーレ原宿、吉祥寺PARCOで行われたライブペインティングなど、様々なアートイベントに参加。

2020年から色を取り入れ、新しい作品像を模索し始める。
無作為な線から生まれる表現を大切にし、面を創り、色をつける事により、動物に生命感と躍動感を与える。
脳に刺激を与え、どこか落ちつきのある作品を創り、グローバルな表現をこめたいと思っている。

My work explores the fundamental energy of life through the traditional technique of marbling. The unpredictable patterns, which are the core of my creations, reflect the diverse aspects of energy found in the natural world: the flicker of a flame, the depth of the sea, the hardness of minerals, and the colors of ripe fruit. Through a process where precise control and chance intersect, I capture the powerful dynamism hidden within living things like animals and plants, sublimating it onto the canvas.
I hope these works resonate with the viewer’s sensibilities, becoming a source of energy that brings passion and excitement to their daily lives.
