ASHIYAGARO kyoto

Under the direction of Shoko Kitagawa, ASHIYA GARO has been actively promoting work of contemporary art and presents artists, both in Japan and from abroad, whose identity and originality mark our epoch.
ASHIYA GARO has moved to Kyoto in July 2016 after 17 years from its inception in 1999 from Ashiya, a city renowned for its cultural environment.
