The Tolman Collection

The Tolman Collection was founded in 1972 by former U.S. diplomat Norman Tolman and his wife, Mary. The gallery is now run by the second generation, Allison Tolman. We specialize in contemporary Japanese graphic art, representing more than four dozen established artists.
The Tolman Collection holds numerous shows at museums and various venues throughout Japan and abroad. Based in Tokyo and New York, the gallery participates in international art fairs, introducing original prints and paintings, many of which are exclusively made for The Tolman Collection.
We operate bilingually in both English and Japanese.
