HIDEKI NAKAJIMA　MADE in JAPAN.TOKYO ,KSU edition
Hideki Nakajima (1961-2022) handled numerous art direction and design projects across a wide range of fields, including the magazine CUT and book and CD jackets for musician Ryuichi Sakamoto. He received the New York ADC Gold Award, among many other domestic and international accolades. His work continues to attract attention, frequently featured in overseas design magazines. In 2021, Nakajima compiled a selection of works he personally curated from his 30-year career into a book titled HIDEKI NAKAJIMA: MADE in JAPAN. In an interview included in the book, he stated, “I wanted to leave behind a collection of works, like a testament, showcasing the appeal of the printed expression I have pursued throughout my career.” This exhibition centers on works featured in the book, presenting a wide range of his work spanning personal projects, magazines, fashion advertising, photo books, general publications, and product packaging.
