gallery UG is a contemporary art gallery based in Tokyo. In August 2025, with the support of Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin, we opened gallery UG Fukuoka as our first permanent location in Kyushu.
Our expansion into Fukuoka is more than the opening of a new space—it is a commitment to growing alongside the city and contributing to the development of a vibrant new art scene. Inspired by Fukuoka’s unique culture and creative energy, we introduce diverse contemporary artists from Japan and abroad while creating opportunities for meaningful encounters and dialogue through art.
